The Portuguese Group Analytic Society reports the death of Dr. Eugénio Manuel Minotti Cruz Filipe on March 16^th, due to a medical disease.

Dr. Eugénio Cruz Filipe was a psychiatrist in the Hospital de Júlio de Matos, Psychoanalyst of the Portuguese Psychoanalytical Society, member of the APPSI, honorary member of the Portuguese Art therapy Society (Sociedade Portuguesa de Arte-Terapia), and Tutor Member of the Portuguese Group-Analytic Society.

As a collaborator of the PhD Dr. Eduardo Luis Cortesão in the beginning of the independence of the Portuguese Psychoanalytical Society, Dr. Eugénio Cruz Filipe was the first president of our society.
